The Ultimate Snack for Pups On The Go

Ever wondered why you can't find duck feet at yum cha restaurants yet chicken feet are everywhere? It's not the rarity of duck feet versus the abundance of chicken feet that is the issue. Chicken feet simply offer so much more irresistibly chewy collagen and as a dog treat, few can rival its benefits.

Jam-Packed With Benefits

  • Rich in Protein: Chicken feet are a high-protein treat that helps support your dog's energy needs and overall health, contributing to muscle repair and maintenance, which is vital for supporting joints and overall mobility.
  • Abundant Collagen: The natural collagen found in chicken feet support healthy skin and a glossy coat, ensuring your dog looks as good as they feel.
  • Joint Support: With ample glucosamine and chondroitin, chicken feet promote joint health and mobility—ideal for active pups, senior dogs, and dogs with degenerative joint conditions such as hip dysplasia.
  • Dental Health: The natural texture of dehydrated chicken feet help scrub away plaque and tartar as your dog chews, promoting fresher breath and better daily oral hygiene.
  • Low in Calories: Low in fat yet high in protein, chicken feet are a low-calorie option for helping your dog maintain a healthy weight.
  • Convenient Treat: Lightweight and mess-free, these treats are easy to store and perfect for on-the-go snacking!

Calming Benefits of Chewing

Chewing is a natural behaviour for dogs and plays a significant role in promoting calmness and reducing anxiety. When dogs chew, they engage in a repetitive action that can help soothe their nerves and lower stress levels. The act of chewing releases endorphins—hormones associated with pleasure and relaxation—creating a calming effect. This can be particularly beneficial during stressful situations, such as when you’re leaving home or during loud noises. Providing your dog with a satisfying chew, like our dehydrated snapper strips, can help redirect their focus and energy, offering them a constructive way to cope with anxiety.

About NOTHING BUT...DOG TREATS

After two of their beloved dogs succumbed to lymphoma, Bark Doctor's founders were determined to feed only the healthiest dog treats for their fur family. NOTHING BUT...DOG TREATS was built on a promise to offer nothing but all-natural goodness and absolutely no additives, preservatives or artificial flavours. NOTHING BUT...DOG TREATS is made from 100% Australian ingredients, all meticulously dried and packed locally on the Redcliffe Peninsula in Moreton Bay, Queensland.

Safe Feeding Guide

1. Supervise Your Dog

Always supervise your dog while they are enjoying treats to prevent choking or overeating, especially with larger pieces of dehydrated meat or bones.

2. Hydration is Key

Ensure your dog has access to fresh water at all times, as dehydrated treats can be rich in protein and may lead to dehydration if not balanced with adequate water intake.

3. Introduce Gradually

When introducing new treats, do so gradually to observe any adverse reactions. Start with small amounts and monitor your dog for signs of allergies or digestive upset.

4. Check for Size Appropriateness

Choose treats that are appropriate for your dog's size and chewing habits. Larger dogs may require bigger treats, while smaller dogs should have appropriately sized options to avoid choking hazards.

5. Avoid Overfeeding

Treats should complement a balanced diet, not replace it. Follow recommended serving sizes to avoid excessive calorie intake and maintain your dog's healthy weight.

6. Consult Your Veterinarian:

If you have any concerns about specific ingredients, dietary restrictions, or health issues, consult your veterinarian to ensure the treats are suitable for your dog’s individual needs.

Storage Matters

Nothing But...Dog Treats have absolutely no preservatives so proper storage is very important in order to maximise shelf life, which is around 12 months from receiving the product.

Store dehydrated treats in a cool, dry place and ensure they are sealed properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Heat and moisture are the biggest culprits so it may be best to store in the fridge in an airtight container during the hottest months of the year.
