Kick serious training goals with the pup or just tell them you care with our delicious and nutritious Gold Band Snapper Fillet Strips! These limited batch dog treats are crafted from 100% natural Gold Band Snapper, sustainably sourced in Australia and dried right here on sunny Moreton Bay, Queensland. Nothing But...Dog Treats use the low-and-slow dehydration process to preserve essential nutrients and flavour whilst absolutely having no additives or preservatives, making these strips a healthy tasty snack for dogs of all sizes.

Nutritional Powerhouse

  • High-Quality Protein: Each snapper strip is rich in protein, essential for building and repairing tissues, supporting muscle development, and maintaining overall health. The Australian Gold Band Snapper provides a clean source of protein that fuels your dog’s energy needs for daily activities.
  • Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Our snapper fillets are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which promote healthy skin and a shiny coat. Sourced from the pristine waters of Australia, these omega-3s are also known for their anti-inflammatory properties, supporting joint health and improving mobility in dogs of all ages.
  • Vitamins and Minerals: Gold Band Snapper is naturally rich in vital nutrients, including Vitamin B12, which supports nerve function and a healthy metabolism, and selenium, an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage. These nutrients play a crucial role in your dog’s overall well-being, all derived from high-quality Australian fish.
  • Low in Carbohydrates: With no fillers or artificial ingredients, our snapper treats are low in carbohydrates, making them suitable for dogs on weight management diets. This helps maintain a healthy weight while still providing the necessary nutrients.

Dental Health Benefits

Our dehydrated snapper fillet strips also aid in dental care! As your dog chews on these crunchy strips, their natural texture helps to scrape away plaque and tartar build-up from teeth. This process can promote fresher breath and contribute to better oral hygiene, making snack time beneficial for your pup’s dental health.

Calming Benefits of Chewing

Chewing is a natural behaviour for dogs and plays a significant role in promoting calmness and reducing anxiety. When dogs chew, they engage in a repetitive action that can help soothe their nerves and lower stress levels. The act of chewing releases endorphins—hormones associated with pleasure and relaxation—creating a calming effect. This can be particularly beneficial during stressful situations, such as when you’re leaving home or during loud noises. Providing your dog with a satisfying chew, like our dehydrated snapper strips, can help redirect their focus and energy, offering them a constructive way to cope with anxiety.

Size Guide

As an all-natural, unprocessed product, our snapper fillets vary in size, with most ranging between 10cm to 30cm in length and up to 5cm wide. They are fairly thick, so it may be possibly to break each strip by hand into 2 to 3 smaller pieces but no smaller than that.

Safe Feeding Guide

1. Supervise Your Dog

Always supervise your dog while they are enjoying treats to prevent choking or overeating, especially with larger pieces of dehydrated meat or bones.

2. Hydration is Key

Ensure your dog has access to fresh water at all times, as dehydrated treats can be rich in protein and may lead to dehydration if not balanced with adequate water intake.

3. Introduce Gradually

When introducing new treats, do so gradually to observe any adverse reactions. Start with small amounts and monitor your dog for signs of allergies or digestive upset.

4. Check for Size Appropriateness

Choose treats that are appropriate for your dog's size and chewing habits. Larger dogs may require bigger treats, while smaller dogs should have appropriately sized options to avoid choking hazards.

5. Avoid Overfeeding

Treats should complement a balanced diet, not replace it. Follow recommended serving sizes to avoid excessive calorie intake and maintain your dog's healthy weight.

6. Consult Your Veterinarian:

If you have any concerns about specific ingredients, dietary restrictions, or health issues, consult your veterinarian to ensure the treats are suitable for your dog’s individual needs.

Storage Matters

Nothing But...Dog Treats have absolutely no preservatives so proper storage is very important in order to maximise shelf life, which is around 12 months from receiving the product.

Store dehydrated treats in a cool, dry place and ensure they are sealed properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Heat and moisture are the biggest culprits so it may be best to store in the fridge in an airtight container during the hottest months of the year.
