Super Meaty Hake Fillet Strips
Kick serious training goals with your pup—or simply show them you care—with our delicious and nutritious Flake Fillet Strips! These limited-batch dog treats are crafted from 100% natural Australian Flake (shark), sustainably sourced and gently dried right here on sunny Moreton Bay, Queensland.
At Nothing But…Dog Treats, we use a low-and-slow dehydration process to lock in natural flavour and essential nutrients—without any additives, fillers, or preservatives. Just clean, simple goodness your dog will love.
Responsibly sourced with purpose
Our hake is a by-product of the human seafood supply chain—the same catch that supplies local fish and chip shops and supermarkets. Rather than going to waste, these nutrient-rich fillets are carefully repurposed into premium dog treats. This means no sharks are harvested specifically for pet food, making this a more thoughtful and sustainable choice.
Perfect for dogs of all sizes, these meaty strips are a satisfying, protein-rich chew that supports everyday health.
Nutritional Powerhouse
-
High-Quality Protein
Each flake strip is packed with lean, high-quality protein to support muscle development, tissue repair, and overall vitality. It’s a clean energy source that helps keep your dog active, strong, and thriving. -
Naturally Rich in Omega Fatty Acids
Flake provides beneficial omega fatty acids that support healthy skin and a shiny coat, while also contributing to joint health and overall wellbeing. -
Essential Vitamins & Minerals
Rich in nutrients like Vitamin B12 and selenium, hake supports nerve function, metabolism, and cellular protection—helping maintain your dog’s long-term health from the inside out. -
Low in Fat & Carbohydrates
Naturally low in fat and completely free from fillers, these treats are ideal for dogs on weight management diets or those needing a lighter, cleaner protein option.
Dental Health Benefits
These dehydrated flake fillet strips aren’t just tasty—they’re functional too. Their firm, chewy texture helps scrape away plaque and tartar as your dog chews, supporting healthier teeth and fresher breath over time.
Calming Benefits of Chewing
Chewing is more than a treat—it’s a grounding ritual for dogs. The repetitive action helps release endorphins, promoting relaxation and reducing stress.
Whether it’s separation anxiety, boredom, or loud environments, a satisfying chew like our flake strips gives your dog a natural way to self-soothe while staying engaged and content.
Size Guide
As a natural, minimally processed product, our flake fillets vary in size. They are thick and all meat with most strips range from 10cm to 15cm in length.

Safe Feeding Guide
Safe Feeding Guide
1. Supervise Your Dog
Always supervise your dog while they are enjoying treats to prevent choking or overeating, especially with larger pieces of dehydrated meat or bones.
2. Hydration is Key
Ensure your dog has access to fresh water at all times, as dehydrated treats can be rich in protein and may lead to dehydration if not balanced with adequate water intake.
3. Introduce Gradually
When introducing new treats, do so gradually to observe any adverse reactions. Start with small amounts and monitor your dog for signs of allergies or digestive upset.
4. Check for Size Appropriateness
Choose treats that are appropriate for your dog's size and chewing habits. Larger dogs may require bigger treats, while smaller dogs should have appropriately sized options to avoid choking hazards.
5. Avoid Overfeeding
Treats should complement a balanced diet, not replace it. Follow recommended serving sizes to avoid excessive calorie intake and maintain your dog's healthy weight.
6. Consult Your Veterinarian:
If you have any concerns about specific ingredients, dietary restrictions, or health issues, consult your veterinarian to ensure the treats are suitable for your dog’s individual needs.
Storage Matters
Storage Matters
Nothing But...Dog Treats have absolutely no preservatives so proper storage is very important in order to maximise shelf life, which is around 12 months from receiving the product.
Store dehydrated treats in a cool, dry place and ensure they are sealed properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Heat and moisture are the biggest culprits so it may be best to store in the fridge in an airtight container during the hottest months of the year.
